The Vision of The Church and Easter:
In my vision, I was climbing down a sewer, and while going down the ladder, I stepped into dirty water, floating on top of the water was black soot and dead bodies. As I continued to walk through the water, I walked into a dry tunnel with lights, and then ended up in a church. In the vision I went through several churches and I noticed that I was filthy and my clothes were like dirty rags.
While visiting these churches I heard several names being called out. The first name was Brenda, then Carol, John and Timothy. These people all looked down on me while I was walking, and also put their heads up in the air and walked away, including the first ladies, while the Pastors sat in the pulpit like kings.
In the church they had palms, in the shape of crosses. They also had Easter baskets, flowers and the First Ladies wore brooches in the form of a flower. The Lord brought to my attention how they were dressed, the ushers and missionaries were all dressed in white, and the First Ladies were dressed in suits and hats. The Lord showed me that everyone was really unclean, even though they were dressed nice. I saw alot of demonic spirits and they all stood throughout the church, and on the back of the neck of everyone read the number "6". In my vision, I noticed that there was a celebration going on, and the Lord spoke to me and said, they are celebrating "Easter", a pagan holiday. I also sensed the atmosphere was thick and cloudy, and I saw that the church was covered in darkness.
As I continued to stand in the church, the demon spirits recognized who I was, they noticed that I could see them but the other people in the church couldn't. They begin to walk towards me and I knelt down on my knees, and said, "The Blood of Jesus." I rubbed my hands together and created a fire around me so that the demons could not get close to me. While the fire burned Prophetess Patricia McKinney came from the Altar in pure white, and the Glory of God was upon her. She told me, "Do not be afraid, that no harm or hurt would come upon me, because Gods presence is protecting me, and continue to stand and worship God, and I did as I was instructed.
While worshipping, the demons turned into statues, but their eyes were still moving. Prophetess Patricia McKinney spoke again and the room turned brighter, and all the statues began to shatter and crumble before me, and the vision was over.
For Christ and His resurrection I have everything, and to it, I owe everything. But for the pagan festival of Easter, I have nothing but contempt!
The trappings of the modern Easter, and its associated days are all pagan in origin. Lent is not found in the Bible as a Christian holiday. It is rather borrowed from the 40 days of mourning for Tammuz, the lover/ husband/son of Astarte. God's Word condemns its observance in Ezekiel 8:14.
The word Easter is mentioned but once in the Authorized (KJV) Version of Scripture (Acts 12:4). There it is being observed by the pagan King Herod not by any Christian.
Some who know the pagan origin of Easter seek to justify its observance by calling it "Resurrection Sunday" rather than by its proper heathen name. This, however, only succeeds in dishonoring all the other Sundays of the year.
Truthfully, for the Christian, every Sunday should be resurrection Sunday! The impact of the resurrection alone can adequately explain why the disciples, who had observed a Saturday Sabbath all their lives, began meeting for worship on the First Day of the week, as we see them doing in Scripture.
Dear Christian, heed God's admonition found in Jeremiah 10:2: "Learn not the way of the heathen . . ."
