How Prophetess Patricia McKinney Made Transition

September 29, 1965 Patricia (On Goff) McKinney was born to Mae Helen Williams and Luther Douglas Goff in Hartford, CT. By the age of 3 years old, she and her family migrated and settled in Norwalk CT following the death of her father. In Norwalk her life experiences begin, which included many changes and challenges.

At the age of 7 years old Patricia was molested and had her innocence taken away from her. Than at the age of 13, Patricia began experiences with boys, and not long after she ran away to Bridgeport, CT where she endured the hardship of being raped and beating. The rape spiraled into the indulgence of alcohol and marijuana. By the age of 15, she became pregnant with her first child. One year later, she was incarcerated for 7 days for theft. Two years later her only child was taken from her because of her lifestyle.

By 17 years of age she endured as much as that of a 30 year old woman. She was introduced to and begun using heroin, and crack cocaine, which opened up the door for the lifestyle of prostitution and crime. By the time she reached the age of 20, she was strung out on drugs with a 15 bag a day heroin habit. Due to her habits and challenges she spent most of her early adult life in and out of jail.

In 1993, at age 28, Patricia's life took a turn for the better. She surrendered her life to the Lord, accepting him as her personal Savior. However, her struggles continued for a while. By 1994, she returned to jail again, and faced an eight year sentence, but because of the Grace of God, she received a lighter sentence of 3 years and only served 10 months in Niantic. In 1995 she was released to the Mary Magdalene House, a Halfway House in Bridgeport, CT.

In 1996, Patricia was released from the halfway House and resided in Bridgeport, CT. She worked a stable job and became a good citizen in the community. In addiction she met her soul mate. They became one on November 9, 1997. Soon after, she and her husband increased their family, with the birth of two beautiful children.

By 2001, Patricia and Kelvin together rededicated their lives to the lord and began attending church while faithfully serving the Lord. In 2006, they pray fully branched out and established Manifested Glory Ministries.

On July 2008, Patricia founded Women in Transition, and outreach ministry for women of all cultures and walks of life. In 2009, she founded the B.A.A.C, the Black American Alliance Commission. She's also a radio host, and volunteers at the York Women's Correctional Center in CT. She's also a spokes woman for God, and a Spiritual Advisor, Motivational Speaker and a Mentor too many. She has appeared on CNN, the Tyra Banks show, "the Lexi show" and On Our Lives with Gwen Edwards. She has also received a citation presented by Princess Jenkins the CEO over The Women In The Black, for Exemplary Signed by the New York State Senator Bill Perkins, and has been featured in a book titled "Bruised but not Broken," where her story is featured in Chapter 3 titled "from Victim to Victory." Truly Patricia's life has been a miracle and she is living proof that no matter what your life experiences may be, you can change through the power of God. One thing that she will always remember is that the Lord himself, saved her, set her free. She honors him daily for bringing her out of darkness into his marvelous Light. As of today Patricia has 17 years clean and sober. To God be the glory!!!
